Prices and permits

These pages show the prices valid for the next two years as well as the conditions and instructions related to prices and renting. A preliminary reservation is valid for two weeks, after which it should be confirmed.

The invoice for the reservation fee is sent once the reservation has been confirmed. The term of payment for the reservation fee is 14 days. The rest of the invoice is due one month before the date of the planned event. Additional services, such as organising the furniture in a certain way or the usage of the grand piano in the Tenaille von Fersen, are also invoiced in the final invoice.

No outdoor facilities are included in the rent of the premises. All outdoor activities in Suomenlinna are subject to a licence. For this reason, the event organiser needs a permit granted by the Governing Body of Suomenlinna for outdoor events such as marital vows or toasts, for example.

Organisers should bear in mind that Suomenlinna is a living part of Helsinki with its own inhabitants and events as well being a popular tourist attraction packed with visitors. Outdoor areas are not limited for the private use of the customer.
