Souvenirs
During the summer season there are plenty of opportunities for visitors to find souvenirs from Suomenlinna. In winter there are fewer places to buy souvenirs, but there is always a small collection on offer in the Visitor Centre.
The museum shop
The Museum Shop on Susisaari island, run by the Ehrensvärd Society, sells traditional souvenirs from May to September. The shop offers t-shirts, fleece jackets and hats with Suomenlinna-themed texts and pictures. In addition, Suomenlinna-themed pottery and other goods are on offer. For children and history enthusiasts, the shop offers tin soldiers and cannons from different periods as well as toys and souvenirs suitable for children.

The Helsinki City Transport ferry operates to the main pier throughout the year, and from there the shop is about 800 metres away. The waterbus stops at the Visitor Centre pier during summer, and the shop is about 300 metres from there.
There is a ramp at the entrance to the shop. However, assistance for wheelchairs is required as there are two steps inside the shop.
Icecellar, Art Shop
The Icecellar in Suomenlinna is a place for local art and culture
persons to exhibit their creative works.The Icecellar Art Shop sells various art works by artists from many different fields.

The Icecellar is located on Iso Mustasaari, near the Military Museum Manege. The waterbus stops at the Visitor Centre pier during the summer, and the Icecellar is about 200 metres from there. The route from the main pier to the Icecellar follows the wheelchair route almost all the way. All of the venue is on one floor,
The artisans’ summer shop b34
This summer shop, selling and showcasing high-quality arts and crafts from Suomenlinna, operates in the old granary, in the same premises as the Museum Shop. The artisans’ summer shop is run by the Viaporin taidekäsityöläiset ry association. Arts and crafts such as textiles, pottery, silver and glassware made in Suomenlinna are sold in the summer shop. The shop is open from May to September. Some of the artisans’ studios are open for visits during special events, allowing visitors to purchase local products directly from the artists.

This small shop in the Ehrensvärd Museum sells books and postcards on the subject of Suomenlinna. Small souvenirs such as pins, magnets, tin soldiers and key chains are also sold in the shop. The Ehrensvärd Museum is open during the summer season.

The museum is located on the first floor of the commandant’s house, at the top end of a long staircase. The museum is not accessible with a wheelchair.
The Toy Museum shop
In addition to the café, there is a charming little shop in the Suomenlinna Toy Museum. The Toy Museum shop sells genuine Steiff and Herman teddy bears as well as Käthe Kruse dolls. Postcards, books, posters and toys are also on offer. In addition, you can find quaint, old-fashioned picture scraps, paper dolls and notebooks. The products make the perfect gift or souvenir from a visit to the Toy Museum. The Toy Museum is open from May to September. The products can also be purchased online. There is a staircase at the entrance, but a wooden ramp can be erected when necessary to allow assisted entrance with a wheelchair. When both of the main entrance doors are open, the doorway is wide enough for a wheelchair.
