Use permit for outdoor areas in Suomenlinna

Events and functions may not be organised and canopies, structures or task points may not be erected in Suomenlinna without the landowner’s permission. Permission is also required when the programme of an event requires the closing of areas or where the event will cause noise or other disturbance. Please read the instructions for event organisers carefully before filling in the application. Public events may also require other official permits. Please read more on the City of Helsinki Rescue Department website.

The application below must be completed in order to obtain the use permit for outdoor areas. The Governing Body of Suomenlinna shall grant the permit for the use of the outdoor area in writing.
The permit for a public event must be applied for at the latest one month before the event, and for private functions at the latest two weeks before the function.
