Finland 100: musical photograph exhibition “A hundred-year night”

The exhibition can be seen at Tenaille von Fersen’s bakery corridors from January 2018 until 12 May 2018.  Opening ceremony and concert take place during the opening of the exhibition.

A musical photograph exhibition presents the events of 1918 in Finland with pictures, words and sound. The exhibition team is interested in how the Finnish Civil War was experienced in Finland and what our generation thinks about the Civil War. The aim is not to write history but rather listen to it, take up microhistorical sounds, dreams, forgotten pictures, misremembered songs and extra sheets that one seldom stops to look at from the archives.

The exhibition’s opening hours will be published later. The exhibition is also open by agreement and with a guide.

Further information:

The musical exhibition is part of the Hysteeriset oireet: Suomen sisällissodan ylimääräiset liuskat project that combines artistic work, artistic research and journalism. The project was funded by the Kone Foundation and is part of the Finland100 programme package.
