With Love from Viapori in fifteen minutes
Come and hear short, fifteen-minute excerpts from the lovely, new guided tour offered by the Ehrensvärd Society. The events will take place in Finnish at the Ehrensvärd Museum on Museum Day at 12 noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The With Love from Viapori tour presents stories about love and everything that it involved in the 18th century. Reality in the 18th century was more multifaceted and, at the same time, in its own, perhaps slightly complex way, occasionally more permissive than we often can imagine.
Information events at the restoration exhibition at the Suomenlinna Museum
On Museum Day, there will be information events on the extensive restoration of the fortress, the construction of which was first started in the 18th century. The events will be arranged at the restoration exhibition on the second floor of the fortress’s main museum. The information events will last for approximately fifteen minutes, and they will take place at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The events are organised in Finnish.
