Food and drinks at Viapori’s Kekri
Step in and take a seat! If you’re not careful, Kekri delicacies served by the restaurants and cafés in Suomenlinna will sweep you off your feet. Restaurant Suomenlinna Brewery, 12 pm to 9 pm
An á la carte menu and Kekri menu are both available for a special price of EUR 35. Kekri menu:
- Vendace & Salmon: salmon pastrami, smoked vendace mousse, vendace roe, sour cream & red onion with hot Finnish potato flat bread
- Roast reindeer calf and reindeer-winter mushroom ragout, grilled carrots and fried barley with onion
- Vanilla ice cream, crispy oats and hot caramel

Café Vanille, 1 pm to 9 pm
The cosy café is located along the main route of the fortress, in a wooden house in the old Russian merchants’ quarter. Delicious cakes and other pastries, a soup of the day, special coffees and refreshments are on offer.

Restaurant Bastion Bistro, 12 pm to 10 pm
Bastion Bistro operates in wooden infantry barracks built in 1892, within a short walk from Suomenlinna’s main quay. The menu features straightforward bistro food such as pizza and burgers.

Linna Bar, 2 pm – 11 pm
This cosy place in the heart of the fortress is the perfect place to study the inner workings of the site while enjoying locally produced beers and a small snack. At Viaporin Kekri a Kekri bath available in a sauna tent outside Linna Bar. Read more at Program. Also, Aarni Kivinen’s All Stars will entertain the public with their varied numbers.

Adlerfelt, 12 pm to 10 pm (kitchen open until 8:30 pm)
Adlerfelt celebrates Viapori’s Kekri with delicious food and hot drinks!
Our offers include hot spiced cider, deliciously steaming glühwein and hearty bouillabaisse fish stew, and silky-smooth pumpkin soup from a delightful MUK-1 van on our autumnal atmospheric terrace. You can also take the soups with you to Suomenlinna’s guided tours.
The restaurant also offers dishes from the scrumptious á la carte menu and an enticing four-course menu from fresh and local produce in the spirit of the harvest season. The price for the menu is EUR 49, and we have designed a stimulating wine package to suit the menu for EUR 35.

The Great Courtyard home cafeteria – only open during Viapori’s Kekri from 11 am to 7 pm (or as long as servings last)
In the Great Courtyard, the apartment B4 in building B37 opens its doors as a home cafeteria for one day only. This unique cafeteria offers hot and cold drinks, and small savoury and sweet snacks to go. All products are vegan, and many of the delicacies have been prepared from this autumn’s harvest. Walk from the Great Courtyard towards Tenaille von Fersen and look for the wooden stairs to treat yourself to some delicacies. Payment by cash or MobilePay only.
